Jesse McCartney is looking to make a comeback with the help of his upcoming tour with the Backstreet Boys. The singer, who rose to fame in 2004 with "Beautiful Soul," announced on Tuesday's "On Air With Ryan Seacrest" that he's planning to have a single out by the time the tour kicks off in early August.
The 26-year-old added that he will be performing new material while on the road with the 90s group, who are also bringing along "Jersey Shore" star DJ Pauly D. Jesse will also be releasing a new album, his first since 2008's Departure, after the tour comes to an end in September.
Since 2008, Jesse has been focusing more on his acting career, appearing in the television shows "Greek," "Young Justice" and most recently "Army Wives."
